My commitment is to offer you the language you need at any given moment, so you can make peace with your history, recognize your own voice, and inhabit your life with meaning.
About
Inhabiting Health
I am Beatriz, a Health Psychologist and Holistic Therapist. I earned my degree in Clinical and Health Psychology and completed a Master’s in Health, Integration, and Disability, driven by a desire to understand how neuroscience and emotion intertwine with the body and the system.
I understand health as an act of justice: recovering a harmony where individual resilience and the transformation of our environment walk hand in hand. I believe that the challenges we face are rooted in social structures and ancestral memories that shape our identity, creating barriers to our health and our opportunities.
My practice is not limited to the consultation room; it stems from a way of inhabiting the world and questioning its structures to promote a health that is, above all, inclusive and human.

The Synthesis of Knowledge
Guided since childhood by art as a tool for resilience, I trained as an Expressive Arts Therapist, integrating the languages of music, theater, dance, writing, and storytelling to connect individual stories with the universal narratives of the collective unconscious.
Deepening the connection between the bodily and the spiritual, I expanded into somatic work, biomechanics, functionality, massage, energy work, Chinese medicine, Therapeutic Yoga, and Ayurveda. This background, combined with my interest in meditation, the study of different philosophies, the anthropology of ritual, and evolutionary astrology, allows me today to accompany processes through both scientific rigor and the depth of myth and bodily wisdom.

Background and Experience
Diversity as a Language
My sensitivity toward the non-normative was born long before my professional career. Growing up in a socially excluded neighborhood, amidst school integration and functional diversity, awakened in me an early social consciousness and an intuitive ability to decipher languages and “translate worlds.”
I have lived and worked on health and socio-cultural development projects across Europe, Central America, Asia, and Australia, which has shown me that beyond cultural, functional, and gender differences, there is a common thread in the human experience.
Ten years ago, I founded the Essentia Association, promoting cultural development, education, and outreach projects for collective health, intercultural mediation, and inclusion. My work has focused on complex realities such as the prevention of gender-based violence and suicide, the integration of functional diversity, and the promotion of emotional and sexual intelligence.
Spanning from childhood to old age, under a transgenerational perspective, I witness that in every process lies a search for a sense of belonging and resilience in the face of trauma.

A Personal Touch
A turning point in my path has been my personal process with chronic illness. Sustaining my own rehabilitation deepened my understanding that health is not always a goal to be reached or something to be "fixed," but a place one learns to inhabit with kindness. My practice is the result of this constant journey between personal healing, clinical research, and collective action.
